Sweden signs Saildrone contract under Nordic defence framework

The agreement covers four unmanned surface vessels and allows other Nordic countries to procure similar services

Sweden has signed an agreement with US company Saildrone for four unmanned surface vessels through the Nordic defence cooperation framework Nordefco.

The contract was concluded by the Swedish Armed Forces and the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV), according to a press release issued by the Swedish Armed Forces on 19 October.
